About CostLoft
Know what your project should cost before you call a contractor. CostLoft publishes cost calculators with one rule: every number shows its work. Each page lists the unit prices it uses, when they were last refreshed, and the sources they came from — cross-checked against at least two independent 2025–2026 cost guides whenever possible.
Prices differ a lot by state and metro. Where local data exists, every calculator has its own state-level pages built on city-level price points; where it doesn't yet, the page says so plainly instead of pretending. Estimates are for planning purposes only. Actual prices vary by project details — always confirm with on-site quotes from licensed contractors.
